The following describes representative wind power project engagements:
Kenetech Operating Asset Acquisition
Led the acquisition effort of the Kenetech Wind Power Operating Assets in the Altamont Pass area of California for a partnership of M&N Windpower and FPL Energy. Assets included 164 MW of wind power projects, 400 MW of power sales and master land lease contracts. Performed due diligence review, developed acquisition pro forma financial model and led the operating and management transition effort.

Wind Program Development
Assisted a major Nordic country generation company in a wind power development program planning effort involving the identification and wind monitoring of near term developable sites and a complete assessment of wind power potential on the national level. Assisted client in specific wind project development program totaling over 1100 MW. Performed wind turbine technology evaluation.
Repower Evaluation and Planning
Performed multiple repowering evaluation scenarios of the 164 MW Green Ridge power assets in the Altamont Pass area of California. Developed detailed repowering plans for each scenario.
Wind Farm Acquisition Due Diligence
Performed due diligence review of the acquisition of the 20 MW Pesa Project in Costa Rica. The project employs the Kenetech KVS-33 wind turbine technology in a very energetic wind regime.
Asset Management Development Program
Developed asset management program for the 18 MW Tierras Morenas Project in Costa Rica.
Asset Management and Project Performance Improvement Assessment
Performed asset management program assessment and project performance improvement review for the 100 MW Le Nordais project on the Gaspe Peninsula in the Province of Quebec, Canada.
Project Business Model and Feasibility Assessment
Developed project business model and performed feasibility assessment for an 85 MW wind project in Southern Nevada.
Project Valuation
Performed multiple asset valuation assessments of 218 MW Green Ridge Power assets over a period of 6 years.
Aftermarket Operating Services Assessment
Performed a complete assessment of the aftermarket operating service business of a major wind developer and turbine supplier. Assessed all after market activities including maintenance, operations, parts and other after market service products.
